I am based in San Francisco. I write nonfiction—essays, articles, reviews, and reports—about all the things that catch my eye, from culture and data to art and philosophy. Sometimes this comes out as traditional journalism or literary writing, sometimes as a scientific analysis or a multimedia blog, but whatever the form, it’s always an examination of the never-ending patterns, of the recurring questions and feelings that I am trying to decipher.
